Everly G. Bishop
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- Silverlake Youth Club
- 1997 to 2024
- English
I coached swimming at Silverlake Youth Club from 1997 to 2024. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
More about Everly
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Everly: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
