Evelyn R. Jenkins

Retired modern history lecturer

  • Auckland State University
  • 1979 to 1998

I spent 19 years as a lecturer in modern history at Auckland State University in Auckland. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
