I taught physics and environmental science at Baobab Middle School, Birmingham. I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 1,150 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Evelyn
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Evelyn: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
