I taught home economics and geography at Eastgate Girls' School, New York. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the running club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Evelyn
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
