Evans Mrema
20 years teaching early years in Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Heritage Girls' School
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I taught early years at Heritage Girls' School in Embakasi from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 6, and I never turned anyone away.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Evans
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Evans: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
