I taught accounting at Oakwood Public School in El Paso from 2010 to 2019. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Eva
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
