Eunice Nabirye Temba
29 years teaching music in Mwanza
- 🇹🇿 Mwanza, Mwanza, Tanzania
- Mwanza Secondary School
- Since 1984
- English, Swahili
For 42 years I have been the music teacher at Mwanza Secondary School. I teach primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 2,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Eunice
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Eunice: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I'm a designer now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Lahore.

You taught me music in 1984 at Mwanza Secondary School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
