I've been a nurse for nine years, most of them in intensive care at Tamale Maternity Hospital in Tamale. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I walk the dog by the river.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
