I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Eugene
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Eugene: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I failed chemistry twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Guadalupe.

You taught me chemistry in 2025 at London Public School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
