Eugene Payne
Coached cricket for 15 years in London
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- 2004 to 2019
- English
I coached cricket at London Kingsway Youth Club from 2004 to 2019. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
More about Eugene
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Eugene: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
