Eugene B. Matthews
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇺 Perth, Western Australia, Australia
- Kingsway Workshop
- 1991 to 2022
- English
My trade is baking. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Perth and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Eugene: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
