Eugene B. Contreras
Coached chess for 26 years in Sheffield
- 🇬🇧 Sheffield, England, United Kingdom
- Silverlake Sports Club
- Since 2000
- English
I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,400 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Eugene
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
