For 38 years I've run the boxing program at Philadelphia Youth Club in Philadelphia. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Ethan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
