I taught computer science and biology at Bakersfield Academy, Bakersfield. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ethan
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
