Esther Yetunde Aliyu
Master of welding, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Enugu, Enugu, Nigeria
- Old Northside Shop
- Since 1999
- English, Spanish
My trade is welding. I opened my own shop in 1999 in Enugu and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Esther
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Esther: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
