Esther Ronke Okoro
Painter, potter and teacher at Wudil Gallery
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Wudil Gallery
- 1995 to 2018
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1995 at Wudil Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I take the work seriously, though not myself. My studio is always a bit of a mess.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
