Esther Mwanaisha Simiyu
Painter, potter and teacher at Mbale Print Workshop
- 🇺🇬 Mbale, Eastern Region, Uganda

- Since 2016
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2016 at Mbale Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the changing seasons. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Esther: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
