Esther Kimaro
Teacher at Nairobi Middle School, loves drama
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- 1979 to 2002
- English, Swahili
For 23 years I was the drama teacher at Nairobi Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 1,220 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Esther
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Esther: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
