For 35 years I have been the early years teacher at Riverside Public School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
