Esther Folake Lasisi
Painter, potter and teacher at Epe Studio
- 🇳🇬 Epe, Lagos, Nigeria
- Epe Studio
- 1990 to 2025
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1990 at Epe Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Esther
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
