I coached football at Amsterdam Community Club from 2004 to 2021. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.

What gifts mean to Esther: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
