I taught mathematics and special education at Good Shepherd Public School, Oakland. I answered every email, even at midnight.
Over the years I had 1,540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Esteban
If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Esteban: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
