I've served Sunrise Mosque in Scranton from 1996 to 2023. My days are mostly visiting, listening and helping people carry things, sometimes literally.
We run a weekly meal that everyone's welcome at, whatever they believe. I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Esteban: I'd put gifts toward the youth program.
