Esteban E. Ruiz
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Buenos Aires Works
- 1981 to 1994
- Spanish
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1981 in Buenos Aires and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Esteban: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
