I've coached hockey at Maple Ridge Football Club since 2014. Most of my players were between 8 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Esra
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Esra: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
