Esra Demir
Religious studies and chemistry teacher, Bursa
- 🇹🇷 Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye
- Riverside Academy
- Since 1993
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 33 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Esra
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me religious studies in 2009 at Riverside Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Greetings from Sheffield.

You taught me religious studies in 2006 at Riverside Academy. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
