I've spent 25 years as a lecturer in law at Beacon University in Istanbul. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Esra
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
