Esperanza W. Ochoa

Thatching, done properly

  • 🇲🇽 Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico
  • Tlaquepaque Repairs
  • Since 1986
  • Spanish
I've worked in thatching since 1986. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 760 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.

More about Esperanza

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
