Esperanza W. Carrillo
Teacher at Lotus Secondary School, loves computer science
- 🇺🇸 Bakersfield, California, United States
- Lotus Secondary School
- Since 1985
- English, Spanish
Lotus Secondary School is my second home. I teach computer science there since 1985, mostly primary school children.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Esperanza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Esperanza: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me computer science in 1989 at Lotus Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard Greetings from Bhopal.

I was in your primary school children class in 2001. You believed I could do it before I did Greetings from Leipzig.
