For 23 years I've run the netball program at Iztapalapa Swimming Club in Iztapalapa. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Esperanza
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Esperanza: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
