Esperanza R. Escobar
Tabla and accordion teacher
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Meadowbank Choir
- Since 2010
- Spanish
I play tabla and accordion. I started in 2010 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Esperanza: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
