I taught music at Jacaranda Academy in Bogotá from 2017 to 2025. Most days I taught Year 9, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Esperanza
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
