For ten years I was the history teacher at Summit Academy. I taught Grade 4 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Esperanza
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I failed history twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Jakarta.

You taught me history in 2002 at Summit Academy. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
