Esperanza J. Valdez
20 years at Our Lady of Peace Reading Room
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Our Lady of Peace Reading Room
- Since 2006
- English, Spanish, French
For 20 years I look after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Our Lady of Peace Reading Room.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Esperanza
I still remember the favorites of every regular.

What gifts mean to Esperanza: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
