Environmental science and special education teacher, Durham
- 🇺🇸 Durham, North Carolina, United States
- Durham Public School
- 1991 to 2024

For 33 years I was the environmental science teacher at Durham Public School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 790 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.

What gifts mean to Esperanza: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
