I've coached baseball at Madina Youth Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 11 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Esi
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
