Errol R. Campbell
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇯🇲 Kingston, Kingston, Jamaica
- Kingsway Works
- 1989 to 2021
- English
I've worked in thatching from 1989 to 2021. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,570 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Errol: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
