I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ernestina
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
