I've worked in tiling since 1980. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 2,210 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Erica: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.

you fixed our roof in 2003 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Pune.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
