I've volunteered with Quezon City Neighborhood Trust from 1986 to 2022. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 33 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Erica: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
