Eric Kwadwo Yamoah
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇭 Ho, Volta, Ghana
- Starlight Workshop
- Since 2005
- English
My trade is blacksmithing. I opened my own shop in 2005 in Ho and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Eric: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
