Eren Berk Karakaya
Physical education teacher at Acacia Middle School, Since 2015
- 🇹🇷 Bursa, Bursa, Türkiye
- Since 2015
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I run most mornings. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Eren
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Eren: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
