I've been a nurse for 25 years, most of them in community health at Brookfield Maternity Hospital in Bornova. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
