Erdem Tarık Şimşek
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Istanbul
- 🇹🇷 Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Our Lady of Peace Orchestra
- 1986 to 2001
- English, Turkish
I play traditional drumming and classical. I started in 1986 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Erdem
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
