My subject is anthropology, and for 24 years I got to share it with undergraduates at Kadıköy State University.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Erdem
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
