I've been a nurse for 39 years, most of them in mental health at Addis Ababa Children's Hospital in Addis Ababa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
