Enrique M. Macías
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Hialeah, Florida, United States
- Old Pioneer Repairs
- 1986 to 2003
- English
I've worked in leatherwork from 1986 to 2003. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 530 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Enrique: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
