Enrique G. Vargas
Retired English literature teacher from Silverlake Academy
- 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
- Silverlake Academy
- 1980 to 2001
- English, Spanish
I taught English literature at Silverlake Academy in Guadalajara from 1980 to 2001. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Enrique
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
