Endale Yohannes Tadesse

Brass band player and teacher in Gondar

  • 🇪🇹 Gondar, Amhara, Ethiopia
  • Gondar Redwood Quartet
  • Since 1982
  • English, Amharic
I'm a musician from Gondar. I've toured a little, taught a lot and played at more weddings than I can count. I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.

More about Endale

I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Endale: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
