Emre Emre Güler
Oud and tabla teacher
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Quartet
- Since 2015
- English, Turkish, Spanish
I play oud and tabla. I started in 2015 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 17 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Emre
I write my first song when I was 20. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Emre: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.

I still have the recording from that night at Üsküdar Quartet Truly.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
